A Word from TriNet’s New CEO
By Burton Goldfield, TriNet President & CEO

Long-time readers of HR Wire probably recognize that I’m a new face at TriNet, having recently joined the company as TriNet’s President & CEO.
My friend and colleague Martin Babinec continues on as the company’s Chairman, and I look forward to carrying the company to even new heights
of growth and success--as well as sharing my views with you in each issue of HR Wire.

In my first 30 days at TriNet, I’ve been embarking on a whirlwind tour of the country to visit both TriNet regional offices as well as customers. And what I’ve found has made me even more enthusiastic about my new position.

My takeaways thus far:

HR outsourcing has far reaching implications for a company’s success. In talking to one of our customers, Project Solutions Group (PSG), I recognize that a high-value HR outsourcing arrangement is far more than simply payroll and benefits administration. They took advantage of some of our additional, value-added manager training opportunities, and their principal, Mike Wolff, was enthusiastic about the results. PSG's Principal, Mike Wolff, said, "Never has the thought crossed my mind that we haven't gotten value from partnering with TriNet."

All kinds of companies can use us. TriNet has typically been known as a kind of boutique player, serving technology companies as well as financial service firms. But I’ve visited with many types of companies so far, and I recognize that any company can take full advantage of HR outsourcing as long as they truly care about investing in their people and maximizing their potential.

I’ve inherited a great team. The one constant among all the customers I’ve met is how much they appreciate their human capital management team. I feel fortunate that I’ve been invited to join such an experienced and high-impact group of professionals. Just listen to some of their podcasts if you don’t believe me.

I look forward to communicating with HR Wire’s readership and welcome any feedback.

Best,

Burton M. Goldfield
President & CEO, TriNet
