Official Rules for the Craft Coffee Bundle Sweepstakes

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

  1. Eligibility: The Coffee with TriNet Bundle Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open exclusively to attendees at Startup Grind Conference in Redwood City, California, who are legal residents of the United States and at least eighteen (18) years of age. Employees of the Sponsor, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members, are not eligible to enter.
  2. Agreement to Official Rules: By entering the Sweepstakes, you indicate your full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Official Rules and the Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
  3. Entry Period: The Sweepstakes begins at 1:00 pm PST on April 4, 2025 and ends at 11:59 pm PST on May 2, 2025 (the “Entry Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible. The Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes.
  4. How to Enter: To enter, fully complete and submit the Craft Coffee Bundle Sweepstakes Digital Entry Form at the TriNet booth OR navigate to the Startup Grind Global Conference Digital Giftbag website and click on TriNet’s Sweepstakes Entry Partner Page. Submit your full name, company name, email address, and country to submit your entry.. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person. Additional entries will not be acknowledged, and the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant with multiple entries. By entering, you agree that you may be contacted by the Sponsor or its affiliates regarding this and other solutions, marketing, events, offers, and related resources that may be of interest to you by telephone call and email. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in messages you receive from the Sponsor. Please see Section 11: Use of Data to learn more about TriNet’s data collection information.
  5. Drawing: After the Entry Period, the Sponsor will select one (1) potential winner in a random drawing of all entries received. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received.
  6. Notification and Requirements of Potential Winner: The Sponsor will notify the potential winner either at the on-site location where the Sweepstakes or by using their contact information. The potential winner will then need to either pick up the prize at the on-site location or arrange a meeting to receive it. Except where prohibited, a potential winner may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release. If a potential winner fails to pick up the prize at the on-site location or the arranged meeting location or does not sign and return the required documents within the specified time period, an alternate potential winner may be selected through a random drawing of all remaining entries.
  7. Prize: One (1) winner will receive the following with an approximate total retail value of $217.45 (“Prize”):
    • AeroPress XL Coffee Maker & Paper Micro-Filters ($87.45) 
    • Blue Bottle Blend Box ($42.00) 
    • Sightglass Spring in Your Sip Coffee Bean Set ($58.00) 
    • TriNet-Branded Miir Camp Cup ($30.00) 

      A winner is responsible for paying any applicable income taxes and any and all other costs and expenses not listed above. Any prize details not specified above will be determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. A prize may not be transferred and must be accepted as awarded. You may not request cash or a substitute prize; however, the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or a portion thereof) with another prize of equal or greater value if the prize (or portion thereof) is not available for any reason, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.
  8. General Conditions: In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Sweepstakes is impaired in any way for any reason, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either (a) suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prize at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Proof of sending any communication to the Sponsor by mail shall not be deemed proof of receipt of that communication by the Sponsor. In the event of a dispute as to any entry, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the participant. The Sweepstakes is subject to federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. These Official Rules may reference names or brands of parties other than the Sponsor. The inclusion of such names or brands does not imply any endorsement or affiliation with them.
  9. Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in the Sweepstakes, you agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, social media platforms, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property. You further agree that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, and in no event, shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees. You waive the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
  10. Privacy and Publicity: Any information you submit as part of the Sweepstakes will be used for purposes of this Sweepstakes and treated in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes an entrant’s consent to the Sponsor’s use of his/her name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, and city/state of residence for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration.
  11. Use of Data: The Sponsor will be collecting personal data about Entrants through business cards. Please review the Sponsor’s privacy policy at https://www.trinet.com/privacy-policy. By participating in the sweepstakes, Entrants agree to the Sponsor’s collection and usage of their personal information. We may use your personally identifiable information to inform you of new services, promotions and other matters targeted to your interests. You may choose to stop receiving our newsletter or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in these emails, accessing the email preferences in your account settings page or by mailing your communication preferences to the Sponsor’s address below.
  12. Disputes: Except where prohibited, you agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in California. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of California or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than California.
  13. Media: The Sponsor may photograph or record participant (“Media”), and the Sponsor may use Media at its sole discretion. Eligible participant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever. Eligible participants may not photograph or record at any time during the Sweepstakes or at the Event.
  14. The Sponsor: The Sweepstakes is sponsored by TriNet USA, Inc., 1 Park Place, Suite 600, Dublin, CA 94568.
  15. Official Rules/Name of Winner: To request the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to TriNet USA, Inc., Attn: Event Success, 1 Park Place, Suite 600, Dublin, CA 94568. Requests must be received within four (4) weeks of the end of the Entry Period.
